Website Updated and Win a Book

Hey. I've just updated my website with all the info on my new books out in 2009 and a chance to win a copy of Mac Slater, Coolhunter 1: The Rules of Cool.

I've also recently set up a Myspace page and had a few thousand hits and lots of positive vibes on one of my short films there.

Check it out and drop me a line. This is my first mention of the page so forgive me for having no 'friends'. I have some in real life. I promise.

Halogen Young Leaders Day

Late in '08 I had the chance to speak to a couple of thousand high school students at the Halogen Foundation Young Leaders Day in Brisbane. Halogen run these days all over the country to inspire the next gen to lead themselves and others in positive ways.

I came away feeling juiced, too. It was exciting to have to work through some of my ideas on authenticity, flow and creativity but also I was inspired by the participants. Outside at a book-signing I had a chance to speak one-on-one and so many of the students had a strong sense of what they wanted to do with themselves after high school. I've seen the future and it looks good.

I'll be speaking at the Primary School Halogen Young Leaders conference in Brisbane on 18 March '09. Can't wait. Hope to see you there.

Change the World

This year I've challenged myself to spend the first five minutes of every day changing the world in some small way. The challenge is inspired by my film, Every Day at School and the book, Change the World for Ten Bucks. Check it out, let me know what you think and drop me a line if you have any ideas for five minute world-changing actions.

Like We Are What We Do and Obama say: Small actions x Lots of People = Big Change.
