Story Scrapbook Video

Ben Train, developer of our brand new free multimedia story brainstorming app, Story Scrapbook, has just sent through a 2-minute video showing how the app works. I’d love you to watch it and, if you like, share the good times around!

About the app:

Story Scrapbook is a contemporary story tool, great for kids and teens. It lets you bring together images, video, music, text and web grabs on virtual pages, bringing the writing process alive for people who think visually, interactively and aurally, as well as textually.

Okay, downloaded and had a short play. I found some more tools. Thing is, I can't work out how to go back to the page I was working on. Once you click into, say, Net, it won't let you go out of it; there ARE arrows, but nothing happens when I click on the "back" arrow. I have to keep leaving the page while it's unsaved. Is it my operating system? I'm on a Mac which I updated fairly recently, though I haven't yet got around to buying Lion. I know, I should! Will that help? Oh, and I joined Sioundcloud.

    Hi Sue.

Thanks for taking Story Scrapbook for a spin. On the Story Scrapbook page there is a Quickstart pdf guide for download: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B8ySFZJ6vMzMT2V3MVQ0aEozZ00/edit?pli=1

If you are in WEB tab, you just click on the page behind or on the WEB tab again at bottom of page to return to your Scrapbook page.

The arrows in WEB tab are more for back and forward in the browser.

I'm on a Mac, too. Should be fine with the approach above.

    😉
