Byron Bay Writing Safari

Byron Writers Festival Storyboard Writing Adventure

Inspiring children to write, or adults to write, can be tricky. Walking and writing outdoors is key to creativity, for me at least. Stories seem to flow more easily once I feel the air on my skin, the sand between my toes. It no longer feels like work. So, I joined forces with Byron Writers Festival’s amazing StoryBoard program and took a bunch of young writers on a Writing Safari along the beach in Byron Bay. Here are some pics.

Remember, if you’re stuck, get outside. Walk, swim, ride. Works like magic.
