Scar Town Wins South Australian Literary Awards Children’s Prize

Scar Town won the South Australian Literary Awards Children’s category last night! 😊 I was lucky enough to be there alongside fellow nominees Fiona Lloyd and Maryam Master. The ceremony was in the beautiful Mortlock Wing of the State Library, hosted by author Lainie Anderson.

Thanks to the judges and State Library of South Australia team, including Greg Holfeld, Tracey Glover and Geoff Strempel, and the Premier and Arts minister for presenting. Congratulations to the other winners and nominees, including one-of-a-kind Biffy James who won the YA category for her book ‘Completely Normal…’ which I’m listening to on audio and love.
